Description
Vinyl LP pressing of this archive release featuring the late Joe Nanini, former drummer for Wall of Voodoo. Nanini, the first drummer to combine live and e-drums in recorded and live punk, made an ellpee in the late 1990s on his way to buy some more heroin in Koreatown... calling on old friends Billy Bass Nelson, multi-sax/reed Hollywood genius Spyder Mitellmann, proto-punk KK Barrett, Rhino 39 superstars Jason Scharback and Larry Parrott as well as the undead, unmatched Dangerhouse Records production team... all these souls spewed forth a sound that couldn't be repeated in public... and never was, as band members kept dying more quickly than they could be replaced, Deep shit to say the least, and it's lyrical quiescence should be completely thawed before fundamental assimilation, as the instrumentals contain no words.

Everyone needs to buy this. I'll admit that I was pulled in by the KFJC, Los Altos Hills deejay Greta Clue. She said the lineup consisted of a trifecta of now defunct greats, The Screamers mainly. Maybe Crime, Swamp Zombies, or Fudge Rhino. This is all over the place salsa-inflected, Michael Bolton, Kenny G, Paul Shaffer and Randy Newman. I'm not only saying that because a guy named Black Randy is rumored to be in the group. The competent musicianship of with cabaret lyrics is a lot crisper than most music I listen to that isn't sample-heavy.It's way beyond anything I can reckon, but if you're hep and thus can picture with me a wedding band of the most debauched rock vampires ever who need to raise money for various medical procedures thus trying to keep under wraps what freaks they are, this is that band.Listening to this is like taking off your shoes and putting them directly into sex.
