I bought these and also the Revolution Race GP pants to compare and I'm glad I did (pictures are of the Nordwand in green/black and the GP in grey/black). Amazon and Revolution Race sizing guide suggested I was a medium, but reviews said they run small so I got larges in both. These Nordwand pants (in black/green) are snugger in the thigh and actually have less give than the GP pants (in black/grey), but the thigh zips on the Nordwand give a little more wiggle room. The large Nordwand fit fine and I don't think I could have squeezed into a medium, but the large GP (in black/grey) may have been a little bit too big so I had a saggy backside. The Nordwand has a more flattering cut for the backside, too. The Nordwand also felt lighter where the GP felt heavier and stiffer, but there was more room in the thighs of the GP (again, maybe that was because I could have done a medium instead of large). Both ran very long for my 5'5 and 30" inseam (the GP even more so), but the excess will just wrinkle at the ankles. The GP also had a higher waist whereas the Nordwand sat mid rise. I do love the pretty green of the Nordwand. Bottom line - I kept the Nordwand and am returning the GP.
