These are tights-style pull-on breeches with cute horseshoe shaped grippies in the full seat. Based on the size chart I wasn't sure if the XL would fit but thanks to the stretchy fabric, they fit like a glove which is typically hard to do with my smaller waist and big hips/thighs.I wish the fabric were a little thicker - if you're familiar with saddles, I'd equate these breeches to a close-contact feel, which isn't necessarily bad, but I prefer material with a little more structure. Having said that, these did not get pulls or rips when my dog play jumped on me - impressive! Anyway, I don't think the fabric is that much different from other tights-style breeches, so if you like that, these are definitely worth getting.
